Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier that was in palestinian captivity for the last 5 years and 4 months, was finally released today!!
Hopefully this is the start of a middle-east peace process.
People are just stoked here, that's awesome!

yea but didnt they release about 200 Palestinian criminals for him...and I also heard the negotations were conducted through a third party...but congratulations to the soldier and his family

actually it's 1027 palestinians for him,non of them criminals, all of them terrorists
most of the released palestinians are expelled and not allowed to come back to the west bank nor to gaza strip.

btw, palestinians are jordanian and egyptian refugees that live in the west bank and the gaza strip, they do not have their own country
