inb4 everyone says how stylish everyone is going be and that casabon will clean house, followed by shit storm about how it wasn't about style but actually was about who can throw the most technical trips well grabbed and whatever, and raging about how phil didn't win even though he threw a super style trick which he grabbed truck.

Unfortunately, this isn't really about the "King of Style"

true, all the entry for the kos are full of steezy trick with a lot of style but when it come up to the comp everyone just try their technical trick.

love the kos edits since i can drop in whenever and watch 3 or 4, and there's usually some awesome ones, but once the choosing's over, kos means nothing to me, for reasons stated above.

honestly i think people just want to do well. If someone only wanted to prove how good their switch 3 is, they would make an edit showing that off. Yeah its called King of Style, we've been over this.

I would love to see a comp based purely on "style" where dubs would be banned and there is a restriction on the spins to 900º.  The comp should be a full sized city big air / regular big air jump and have the same entry method as KoS.  This is will probably never happen because it would be extremely difficult to sell.  Most people who don't follow skiing wouldn't see the style in B-Dog's lazy boy 180 and keep linking me Frank Bare's quad backflip insisting it wins, therefore they wouldn't see the point in a comp of this nature.  Unfortunately when it comes to marketing more is better and therefore it is the same when it comes to rotation.

I do think however that dubs CAN be stylish if done in the right way, I find it hard to say that Jon Olsson's Kangaroo flip that earnt him gold at X games wasn't very stylish.

Whatever. I've been on NS for about a year (and before joining would check by) now and honestly I've just seen the same thing over and ove again so I doubt I'll change a thing.  Oh well
