Am I weird if I don't use googles :(?

Depends on where you ski I guess. If you live in vermont and are skiing 300 foot hills there's really no point unless its snowing. Out in the west where you can actually get some speed going, you'll get teary eyed without goggles.

I hate and love them. They look really good on you and can be useful when it's snowing hard, but when it's sunny out and there's no wind, I usually throw 'em up above my eyes.

I never wear them unless its snowing or I'm skiing out west. Since I ski in the midwest, there is really no need for goggles. After a day or two of skiing, my eyes get used to it and I don't get teary eyed.

For those of you who say "it takes away my peripherals" try some oakleys. for real. I have a pair of crowbars and they are SO much better than ANY goggle I've ever worn that I won't buy anything else. You can literally see your finger if you touch the outrigger. I live in Tahoe so goggles are a must.

i even though crowbars were a bit small. i have wisdoms though (lol) so thats probably why.

but i always use them, i have a persimmon lens which isn't hyphy enough for most people but i can see all the time, even at night when the lights are on. they block wind, UV rays, and snow hitting my face.

^^^^^This. I love wearing ski goggles. When you get em nice and snug, it feels like a good hug, and you feel like robocop.
