I hate my iPhone 4, only got it cause i like iPods but my MyTouch had way better performance, BATTERY, swype texting... And AT&T doesn't have shit for data plans anymore. Canceling my contract two months in yay

Dual band is pretty radical. Hopefully apple doesn't let the carriers lock it down. It'd be a good thing if people could easily change between networks.

Yeah, i lol'd at their updates. Sadly, 90% of their phone users are fucking idiots and probably think dual cores, 8mp camera, and voice search is the new coolest thing and that their stupid iPhone will still only use 3G.

Fuck smartphones. Waste of money.

I can text and call, have a 12€ contract, 300 minutes and 300 texts. The phone was free (of course). And on top of that I'm not retarded like all people who are on FB, Twitter, WhatsApp and all that shit 24/7.

Let's just all agree that for all intents and purposes, the iPhone and Android phones do the EXACT SAME FUCKING THING. The majority of people aren't super duper phone hackers and have no interest in the phone's specs, so other than the user interface, to the average Joe, Androids and iPhones are both cool, and it's just user preference as to which they purchase. They're both good.

You act like the Android phones that have slightly faster processors, or stronger cameras makes a fucking difference on the usefulness of the phone. Yea I completely agree with you Apple markets their shit as completely revolutionary and top of its class, while it is over hyped the overall product they produce is pretty damn functional. I'd rather have an iPhone whose software at least fucking works compared to my droid, my droid x has not only had shitty hardware problems but I get bugs every day on the OS.

I don't really care if someone has a faster phone, only time that shit really fucking matters is with video games, and that apply's to computers as well. For the daily tasks you use your smartphone with the functionality and ease of use greatly outweigh how "powerful" it may be.

That being said, I am pretty pissed on the upgrades for the 4s, should of at least made it compatible with 4g lte or something, adding some upgraded specs and a nicer camera is a pretty big gimmick for an entirely new phone.

i think all that is besides the point. whats aggravating is when people shit their pants when the iphone gets something that androids have been doing for a year.

i'll be the first to say that 4g really isn't that essential unless you're downloading movies all day, so i could care less wether or not the iphone has it, but having used both the iphone and my HTC incredible 2, i much prefer the android over the iphone. the only thing i like about the iphone is its ability to work seamlessly with itunes, but i'm getting over itunes anyways. literally everything else about the android is superior.

I guess I am just stoked to see what happens next with phones hardware and software wise. While I do not ever see myself using Siri, iOs 5 will be nice. I think it was smarter for them not to call it the iPhone 5 even though they did troll the shit out of people ha ha.

I agree dude, I could fucking care less how fast my phone runs but I do care that it syncs well with my mac, has a stupidly easy user interface and runs a real browser and P.S I have a blackberry right now.

I'm less concerned on how the actual specs work with the phones, i just hate how, just how you said, apple pretty much takes a phone thats already being produced, slap an apple logo on it and put it on a silver plater. They then put it on a pedestal because its an iPhone and all the dumb fucks freak out. refer to this video to see my frustration...

yeah apple is all about hype, one way or another almost all their products are technically lacking when compared to their price. Innovative yes, but in the phone market it hasnt been pushing the envelope since the first iPhone.

and use doubletwist, baically the same interaction just have to open another program when you sync. Queue function on their player is clutch too

The new iPhone was not worth all the hype nor an event however Siri is not just voice commands I think it is a great idea for drivers with older cars that don't have Bluetooth to read a text aloud. And I am excited for iOS 5

I love my android, but that siri thing looks awesome. It's waaay more than voice search. Also, my android acts way too much like a computer does, with the freezing and what not. I'll probably be getting the iPhone 4s when it comes out for sprint. Also, I have no complaints about not having 4g on an iPhone, because 4g isn't everywhere, whereas 3g is a lot more common.

I have an origional jailbroken Iphone 2g on Tmobile and an Android.

One is a really great phone and the other is a words with friends device.

I never got into using my phone for a ton of stuff but as far as texting and phone with great battery life. My original Iphone works way better than the android for that stuff.

I have a computer for things like email. I guess I just never really got into the smart phone thing. Although I do love words with friends.

hahah that last line is funny. i was simply trying to point out that apple acts like they're the first one to do everything and that their phone is the best. All of the retards of the world buy it, but its true that the "new" features of the 4s have been on phones for awhile.

4G is in most popular cities by now though. and it's not like if you have a 4g phone you dont get 3g reception. Living with 4g now in mpls and slc has made me appreciate the speeds it has to offer. I would never go back to a phone limited to 3g after having LTE...

Wifi is still faster that's what I don't get people act like they've never had their phone move this fast before. And when I had a tbolt the only place I got wifi was at the airport and right downtown like 16th street area and around the capital and guess what I had wifi also so I rarely even used 4g. Next year when it is more popular and less buggy apple will make a 4g phone

I totally agree with you about that, I like my android phone but there are so many that are wrong with it. Like texting is really slow and crappy and my phone always frezzes. I hope the iphone 4 on sprint is much better than my android.

you're joking me right? I would take a razr before i'd switch to a windows7 phone. absolute poop.

as far as android if you're having trouble with crashing or force closure just root your phone and put a different build on it. Once you learn how to root you'll never go back.

the only nice thing about the 4s is that its a dual cdma + gsm. unless you're traveling outside of the country save yourself some money and buy the 4 if the iphone is your thing

the 3gs is free with a new contract on AT&T and the iphone 4 is 99 bucks with AT&T or Verizon. There are also a ton of droids you could get for free or 99 bucks from both carriers too, go into your carriers store and check out some phones. if thats not cheap then you should probably stick to your flip phone.

honestly if your getting a smart phone and able to pay the expensive ass data plan why not pay the extra 100 bucks or whatever it is and get the most out of your phone? i would highly recomend the 4s
