K2 DOMAIN HELP

They are 100% symmetrical, everything about the tip is exactly like the tail.

However, there is one difference, the edge wraps around the entire ski, but meets together in one spot on the tail (if you look, you can see a small gap in the edge, that's technically the tail). It doesn't make too much of a difference, but if you happen to bash that tip into something it could pop the edge out of place (it can happen in the tail too, but hitting your tips is a bit more common than hitting the tails).

Minor thread jack, but flashkick, having spent a season on the domains what length would you recommend for all-round park use? The 169's are like a cm below my head height, I am 145 lbs, still growing a bit I think, would like to get two seasons out of them.

i bought the 169 and are real 173...

Tough call...I really wish they had a mid170 size, but they don't, I guess it depends on what you want to do with them. If you want to do pretty much all rails with the occasional small to medium jump then 169, if you want to rock them on jumps a bit or on larger jumps them go with the 179.

Ya, I feel like that mid 170 size might be why so much of the k2 team rids recoils.
