What type of rail was the very first rail you rode

Mine was a flat that went for about 14 ft, I rode it so smoothly.

It was 1998 and there was a log coming out of a natural hip. The first park rail would have been a 12ft or 30ft double barrel. Didn't have much choice back then.

AN URBAN STYLE DOWN RAIL. I WAS HITTING IT FINE FOR A COUPLE DAYS, THEN ON THE LAST DAY OF THE SEASON I FELL BACKWARDS AND SLAMMED MY RIBS ON THE RAIL. GOT WINDED AS FUCK AND COULDNT DO MUCH FOR LIKE A WEEK.

SINCE THAT DAY 5 YEARS AGO IVE PROBABLY HIT THAT SAME RAIL 2000+ TIMES

my first kind of rail was in my backyard, it was a 2x4 on its side....

my first actual rail was a flatbar about 15-20 feet long about 1 foot off the ground

50 50 ed a 10 foot box

i remember being a n00b and like going up next to it and like putting 1 ski on when no one was around. then i just did it and felt great, even tho it was the dumbest looking thing over to 50 50 a rail on racing skis.
