solid park.

what's up man! been skiing togg for almost 10 years now. you'll come to love our small east coast hill - everybody knows everybody.

park often starts slow but they make use of nearly the entire hill. at it's prime last year, there was a jump line of 15 feet to around 25 to around 30 to around 50. although on any designated run you really have to sacrifice your jumps if you want to do rails and vice versa. it's not too bad for 700 vert though.

the glades on main are terrible - don't even bother. nubian glades are quite fun after a nice storm, and if you want those untouched glades, you can head off-piste on 16 and further over on that side of the mountain. nobody hardly goes over there so there will be plenty of pow, only thing is the trees are quite close together and it's not an official glade, just in between trails and what not.

the hill is okay. GREAT food but if you're a college student (next 4 years of life hint) the you'll probably refrain from buying due to money issues, although it isn't NEARLY as bad as other, bigger, hills. i'm going too in depth on food though. basically, it's an easy mountain. you really won't find much challenging terrain outside of the park. they say goat is a double diamond but it's just steep and wide, i've seen 2nd graders bomb the entire thing. the lifts are slow but what do you expect from an east coast hill. it can get crowded on weekends but it's never bad early morning or late night (FUCK YEAH NIGHT SKIING) on really any given day.

rumor has it they're putting in another double lift right next to the first one or something but i have yet to have that rumor confirmed and haven't driven by since april, when i last went to ski the snow they still had left. but if they have put in a new lift then things should move along even quicker. i only wish they'd fix the t-bar. RIP old buddy.

welcome to togg man, i'll see you there. it'll be a miracle if you don't, i got in 40+ days last year in the 90 day season. i probably wouldn't have typed all of this out if i didn't miss skiing so damn much

yeah night skiing is the shit.  i got there with the school on thursdays and for the size of the place they make really great use of it for the park. 

sorry for the double post, but yeah first time i went over there it was almost chest deep pow... on the east coast.. enough said.

Black ride jacket, gray Burton pants, white smith maze, and at the very end white text crowbars with pink iridium lenses. And I was on 166 09/10 abangs. It was my first year in the park haha.

Welcome to the family OP! Don't have much to add after that reply from Broto, that pretty much sums it up. You'll have a good time here though, we have a really tight group of riders and everyone is friends. One of my main goals in the last five years has been to create an environment where everyone, no matter their skill level, can have a good time and progress. At other mountains beginner riders often get discouraged by other kids messing with them and making fun of them all the time. We don't have much if any of that going on at Togg, everyone is encouraging and willing to help out, which makes it a fun place to ride. We do the best with our limited resources to give you the best terrain park in the area year after year. Stoked to have you on board man, see you this winter.

hell yeah to this, stomped my first three there after these two guys i didn't even know offered to help. 

nick, can you confirm that they did put in another double on main? or give us any details on it? really been wanting to know. it seems to good to be true lol and i've only heard rumors no solid evidence. hopefully i'm not just gettin all hyped up for nothing

Installation of a new double chair in between main and the existing double chair has indeed begun and is scheduled for completion before the start of the '11-'12 season.

And to the OP, I took 2 or 3 trips out from my home mountain this past season - LOVED it. Great overall vibe. Everyone is very polite on the hill, from the small talk while hiking near features to being curtious waiting to drop on a feature, the people were great. Togg also has a lot of fun organized stuff through the season.

The food is fantastic too; very reasonible. I'll definitely be taking at least 7 or 8 trips out this year
