Hands down more people ON THIS SITE like saga.
saga, Jiberish, LDC, and First Drop are like currency here.
Everything else is personal preferance

^exactly. As for quality, I think Oakley has some better technical jackets, with varying amounts of insulation, many different styles and designs, and (at least in my experience) better durability and water-proofing.

So I would vote Oakley, but both companies are legit.

Its all about what you like The North Face has some decent jackets very similar to Oakley on the more technical side.

haven't had a chance to fit some saga, but i love my oakley!
my fari jacket and pants are by far the best quality i've ever worn .....

oakley probably has more tech aspects to their coats then saga would, but that's the nature of such a big company. however, i think due to the dynamic of the users of this site, saga fits more accurately a majority of the target market. in other words, i'd say saga is more popular because it's more fashion forward, or what's trendy. oakley will have trendy pieces but most of their stuff will be directed towards an older crowd, therefore less fun, playful designs, and more subtle safe ones.

quality wise oakley knocks it out of the park. ive never had saga so i cant speak for their quality but armadas is super legit.
I was skiing through the woods and my jacket caught a branch hard enough to almost bring me to a stop, and the jacket didnt rip or tear at all

Can I through armada into the mix? as far as I'm concerned, last year's galaxy jacket was the illest thing ever, and I've only heard good things about the quality, though I don't own it.
