Check my BP table (pokemon)

I've been working on this for the past couple weeks. I think it turned out pretty cool. the charizard and blastoise stickers were cut by jblaski and i did the pokeball by hand.

the clear coat is currently drying, thats why its surrounded by newspaper and the pic of it set up is from before I painted it. I can take better pics tonight if you want to see it in action.

not quite that portable. but i have a pickup truck so it works, and im probably just gonna take it to college and leave it under my bed haha

table looks way too low, and why are the legs slanted like that? The top is sweet but the rest looks like it sucks

nope, apparently regulation is 27.5" which is barely knee height so i made it higher. its 33" which is slightly below my waist which is like perfect when there are cups on it.

the legs are slanted cause they fold up and it would be really hard to make it sturdy enough if they were vertical. its rock solid how it is now. the legs dont stick out far enough for them to be in your way at all.

Instead of using a clear paint on the top, put a sheet of plexiglass down. It will protect the paint and stickers from damage from spills, and it will be easier to clean

That's a good idea, the lacquer covers the stickers but you're right about it being easy to clean. I might do both

Very legit table (despite the lack of height). Next year I'm thinking of making a frame from 2x4s with a plexiglass top and some dope lighting underneath, but this has definitely given me some initiative to get going with some designs.

I never said the table itself wasnt sick (i agree its too low it should be pingpong table high) but why the design? kids at your college are gonna think you're a dweeb.

and to eheath, pokemon is the perfect level between cool/ "dweeby" to where college students will say "damn thats sick because i can tell you don't seriously still play pokemon" (even if he does...)
