i absolutely love that story. i've seen it before and it always makes me smile. you can only imagine how many people have that same story and have been through the same thing.

i thought it was a great story until i got to the "kill myself" part. I mean come on... this is so ridiculous. if people actually have the theought and intent of killing themselves let them... i can't imagine a normal person thinking about this as an answer to being unpopular.

Although the moral of this story is excellent, the fabrication and plot behind it are usurious....

Just because you have never had that thought does not mean someone else never has.

Id say that alot more people have than you think. People hit their lows middle school and high school. They are young and thing there is no other way and it never gets better. Never even think about "letting" someone who has the thought of suicide go through with it.

i have had plenty of lows man... believe me. i almost died in middleschool which i don't want to talk about. through all that pain and suffering wake up and realize you're not living in africa where people die because they have nothing to eat and because disease and famine are the central threat to their everday lives.

99.6 of americans have refrigerators.... how bad can your life really be?


get real here, if you have the thought about killing yourself when you live in this country theres something not quite right with you. check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I understand people may actually think about suicide, but in reality they're looking for attention and fame more than actually trying to get out of their miserable lives. i laugh at people who pity themselves when they're from a country like this.

go on a trip to africa... you'll wake up real fast. I certainly did.

again i think the moral of the story is great. I'm just saying people should begin to appreciate what they have. every time i feel down or upset i have a bed to sleep in and food in the fridge

we are all much better off in america, in canada or whevere a NSer here may be from.
that does not mean that things dont impact us just as much if not greater then people in africa. I myself suffer from extreme depression and if hadnt been for some friends and a fellow Nser id be in a coffin at the age of 13. So shut up and get your head out of your ass, because you dont know what one person goes through unless they tell you everything or you are them

Cool story and all, but i feel like its one of those circulating messages from facebook and shit. Not saying it isn't real, but i definitely have my doubts. motherfucker i went to africa in 2008, i left as a happy kid and came back as a happy kid. then two years later i got way depressed and contemplated suicide. it happens to way more people than u think, and you should check yourself before u say that to the wrong persons face.

in 2008 8.3 million americans gave serious thoughts to suicide.
