Message History?

My message history only will show my last 30 messages even though I have sent alot more recently. I'm trying to find my conversation with someone from whom I bought an ipod. I paid on July 26th and haven't talked to him and a while and now I don't remember his name. Has this happened to anyone else?

Or if you go to that person's profile, you can see your message history between you and them only by pressing "View MSG Exchange" above their picture.

This is what it says at the top of the page:

You have sent and received 30 messages in the last 365 days!
You also have 296 sent messages and 337 received messages older than 365 days.

When I receive a message it still says I have sent and received only 30 messages in the last 365 days when in reality I have sent alot more. At the bottom of the page I can click and see a second page of messages. Pretty much all of the messages I can see in the 2 pages are from the last week or so.
Can you see more than 30 messages/ do you have more than 2 pages to look at or is it just me?

Also, I found the guy I bought the iPod from using the searchbar but it took like 30 minutes of browsing random iPod threads. I was able to message him and see our message exchange like normal.

Mine says the same
"You have sent and received 30 messages in the last 365 days!
You also have 543 sent messages and 628 received messages older than 365 days."

And only shows two pages at the bottom until I click page two and then the next page comes up and so on I made it 20 pages and gave up. Even though it only says 30 messages if you keep clicking the next page all your messages should show up.

Mine says 30 aswell. It also says i've sent zero in the past 365 days.. I've sent wayy more then 30..
