Next time you're making patties, throw in a half cup of v8 juice for every pound of beef. It keeps all the juices in the meat. And go to the butcher and have him grind it up for you, don't buy the pre-packaged shit. Fuck I'm hungry.

anything but amurican cheese. pepper jack, sharp cheddar, ghouda, muenster are all fair game. bonus points if its a juicy lucy (cheese in the middle)

yeah fuck american. It tastes too fake. I only use american cheese on a grilled cheese sandwich.

To be honest i have never had pepperjack on a burger. Next time i have a burger i will get it with pepperjack

Made an interesting burger after being inspired by this thread today, but it was fucking delicious. Regular old burger, seasoned with Montreal steak seasoning, then topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions, roasted red bell peppers, and a garlic feta spread that I made. It was supposed to be a portobello burger recipe but I just sliced some baby bella mushrooms and put them on top of a regular beef burger. So good.
