that was sick man, just got 3 comments

1. that one overexposed shot of you hitting the bike drop shouldn't have been there
2. I can see that you like rails, but maybe put in a few more shots of jumps or pow to add variation, but this is completely up to you
3. not huge on the 2.17:1 ratio or whatever (the letterbox style) for skiing. thats just my opinion.

overall sick skiing, editing, and shots! good work!

Dope skiing man.

2:1 ratio in my opinion isn't really good for action sports in my opinion, it's best used for movies, shorts, or artsy cinematography. Stick to 16:9. Also , I wasn't feeling the greenish tint.

DOPE song. Seriously, so happy someone got around to put that one in a video.

But yea, I have nothing against the aspect ratio, its just not good for skiing because alot of the subject (the skier, in this case you) gets clipped which is slightly annoying to watch.


other than that I really liked it, sick job dude.

I thought it was very well done looked like you put a little work into it. The one shot as mentioned before was way over exposed and the aspect ratio was cutting your head off. Besides that it was quality editing and quality skiing

If you're gonna go with that crop definitely correct shots where you're half cut off. If you're in FCP just adjust the offset to where you like it. You can even key frame that around during a shot to always have what you want in the frame.

Colors, it's fun to make all sorts of adjustments and changes but you need to be consistant, it's imperative that each shot from the same location matches the previous. In your first few skiing shots you switched from green to yellow to blue highlights which was really distracting. Color CORRECT everything for continuity, then grade it the way you want.

Over all really nice job, sick skiing.

It wasnt a bad edit at all. there was lots i liked about it. but here is just a few things to help you out. at parts it was too cropped and it was cutting part of your head off. it would be cool to see more jumps cause it adds to have a variety of things in there. at times the editing just felt a little weird out of place. for example after u landed one rail u fast forwarded to the next rail but then cut it off before u hit the next rail. why the fastforward then? there were just a few little things like that. i thought the music was good though, not too distracting. and the saturation or whatever it is looked nice. gave the video some color. hope this helps
