I work with some volunteer firefighters and they got a call about a plane circling the airport with a broken landing gear that we were all watching circle around during a really gnarly storm. That would fucking suck

Lol today we had a Gulfstream come back right after it took off because its landing gear wouldn't go up. A few hours later, it took off again and someone said "whelp looks like it's coming right back" after the gear didn't retract. It didn't.
Apparently it flew all the way to Chicago at 12k feet and 250 knots with its gear down the whole way. Better that than risking them retracting correctly but not going going back down when you need to land I guess.
Must be an insane feeling being in a band, coming up with a track and then hearing it come together in the studio where you just feel like "this one is going to big, and I mean BIG"
Such as below;
Every Breath you take - the Police
Don't stop believing - Journey
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
It won't have happened many times over the years, but it must be a pretty special moment to share between your bandmates and studio team.
PartyBullshiitYou got to see a show inside? Only got to view from the outside but even that was super cool
yeah saw dead and co with my dad, cousin, and 2 uncles. my dad and his brothers were a big dead heads in the 70s and 80s. pa would see them in the states and in europe when he lived over there. since ive been an adult, we’ve been to a lot of renditions of the dead like further, ratdog, wolf pack, phil lesh and friends, jrad, dead and co, etc. so when we heard dead and co was coming to the sphere it was a no brainer. i think i was of a select few with wu tang as their background at that show lol
the venue itself is the sickest experience ever. better than the string cheese new years shows with dancers and confetti and flying props, etc. it was better than any light/laser show at any edm show. its better than any sunset from any outdoor theater because they can literally make that scene there. theres almost no bad seat in the entire venue. its so immersive that you feel like your moving or slightly tripping etc. while completely sober. the screens are so big that they expand beyond in your peripherals so its a lot of sensory over load. its an absolute must if you even remotely like someone playing there. buy the ticket, take the ride
Guys if nettspend went up to you and asked if u were down to sip drank wit him would u do it??? i prolly would just because its thne underground legend and the virginia grim reaper that was asking...
i am very different than my coworkers and im starting to think im an outcast. working a blue collar job but i dont drink, smoke cigarettes, and i wear the necessary PPE to protect my body. I have an engineering degree and trying to get a job engineering at said company. kinda sucks balls rn
Finally upgraded my janky ass thermostats to nest’s. Gen 4’s just dropped so a bunch of places are blowing out gen 3’s (pictured). Local Home Depot had them on clearance.

too late now but a lot of utility companies or environmental non-profits will offer the smart thermostats for free as they can raise efficiency quite a bit. i got a free one and lowered my bill by saying i would keep the heat temp under 70 on designated days but i kept the heat at 67 always lol
i used to think whole heartedly that everyone is always trying their best in life and with good intent. so i believed in social programs like unemployment, food stamps, etc. because i believed everyone was like me and if they needed the handout, they would use it to grow and give back.
then i had these fuckin shit heads from louisiana come work for me and they were the shadiest people i ever met. constantly lying and using the system to get money so they could just party. they changed my world view on people. fuck the south lol not surprised that the utility company is no different.

Ya I was able to do something like that with my ev charger. As long as i charge off peak hours i get an extra credit off my account for 12 months.
with the thermostats they had a condition that you had to install one of their temp sensors in the house per ac unit and I only kept the credits as long as I kept the ac 76 or above at night and 80 or above during the day.
