ahshitaaaa I can't decide which binding to put on my revolt 121's. I love p18's just as much as STH216's, and never given tyrolias a try (seem solid tho). I know this isn't gear talk but I'm torn, make the choice for me bois.
-STH2 16's

DeebieSkeebiesThis is 100% exactly me; skinny, lean dude who sweats like no other. Like I even get insanely sweaty on those brutal days where its 5F or colder. I have some longsleeve undershirts i got from wallyworld that are pretty decent when its warmer out, but its gotten so cold now that any of my baselayers/long john shirts, which just soak up moisture, become pretty shitty to wear when its the afternoon.
.MASSHOLE.Fuck getting wisdom teeth removed.
friesThe act sucks so bad. You’re a junior I’m guessing?

Titus69Howd it go? Getting one or two out this coming Monday and not stoked.
.MASSHOLE.I only had 2 and they weren't impacted so it was pretty easy according to the dentist. I opted to go under because I hate the sound of teeth being pulled. Took maybe 40 minutes or so.
Not a lot of blood either for me personally post-surgery. No painkillers, just an antiseptic mouthwash as a medication. Feels like my jaw was punched a few times though currently. It's not painful tbh, but very uncomfortable. I'm trying to avoid eating anything I can't swallow without minimal chewing.
I just want to be able to eat shit without worrying about ruining and dislodging the clots.
Biggest fear is a dry socket.
Titus69Yeah gonna have to hold off the piff after i get mine and be very thorough cause dry socket sounds fucked, my dentist said itll take like 15 minutes per tooth, think im only doing one but might just get the other present one out, my mouth has always been fucked so im probably in for some pain. Happy ill have 2-3 days off, minus a few hundred less bucks in my next check.
.MASSHOLE.Lucky you. My cost estimate was something like $2,000 but that's because I opted for the IV anesthetic plus the local. I think it was something like $600 per tooth though plus the local regardless.
I'm hoping dental or health covers some but I'm not too optimistic.
I'd definitely hold off on smoking for at least a week or so, regardless of pain levels. The potential dry socket ain't worth it.
If they're impacted, you'll definitely be in for a rougher time. Because mine were erupted, it was as simple as pulling a regular tooth, just with a deeper root. Only reason I had to get mine removed was due to the fact I only had 2, not 4, and as such they'd eventually rub against my gum and cause issues.
Edit:
Looks like preliminary cost is $400/tooth, $550 for the IV anesthetic, and $95 for the local. I've paid for the IV already.
