DeebieSkeebiesHaving a job @ 16/any high school age is great and props to kids who still do but damn it sucks having to work with them all day when youre older. They all look to you for answers cuz your older and like we have zero in common.
I guess these dudes are just gonna have to learn all about keeping to yourself and putting your head down all day lol, I got nothin for em
oldmanskiI can admit, it doesnt get any better. The more knowledge or experience you have, someone will always come to you with a question. This world is full of sheep wanting told what to do. Be a leader.

TheMailManSounds like you're over thinking this one. You can't label all 16 year olds needing to know how to operate the deep fryer at Mcds as 'sheep'

Profahoben_212Congrats! Grad scuul buddy's let's go
DIRTYBUBBLEI was honest with the shrink last week and got thrown in the looney bin for 5 hours. What an epic fucking waste of time.
TRVP_ANGELI've skiied with my new coworker before and he doesn't even know. #smallworld
Chubz. The older I get the more I realize the “scene” in skiing is just made up of trust fund kids in their early 20s traveling around the west coast blowing their parents money on drugs and alcohol which is really fuckin lame lol. Dunno maybe I’m just burnt out on skiing right now but the whole skiing industry itself and the “cool shit” and the “cool dudes” is all just boring honestly.
Waaaaay more hyped on skateboarding than skiing right now.
Titus69Eh I see that whole rich kid shit on the comp jock side of things, otherwise theres a lot of kids like at westmini and the U whos families are fucking loaded. A lot of kids I know personally around salt lake are either supported by their parents cause they're in college or like me and work full time and go broke to ski. I try to avoid all the bullshit aspects with skiing kids get into, I had an awesome winter and couldn't be more hyped to keep skiing. Skating is tight though, less bullshit between who's style is better and what not.
Chubz.I guess it’s more of looking up to kids my age when I was little and now realizing that type of lifestyle isn’t attainable unless you have rich ass parents. I bust my ass for the shit I have but every season leaves me broke, definitely not able to rack up a 50+ dollar bar tab every night and make weekend trips to Colorado. Maybe I’m just jaded now who knows. I’m sure my stoke for skiing will come back when I get out west but rn I’m 100% hooked on skateboarding. Skiing is super super bland right now.
S/o to Owen Dahlberg and Ollie for keeping things fresh tho. Y’all are killing it.

BigPurpleSkiSuitI'm sure a lot of skiers are like this. I'm not, and the people I know aren't. Usually work during the week, ski on the weekends.

oldmanskiNo fun having to fire an employee........ come on peeps, just do your job and be honest about the pee tests.
DeebieSkeebiesDid the employee lie about their drug test and end up getting into an accident or something where you needed to be piss-tested? Thats a bummer either way, Ive also seen people have to take drug tests/lose their job because of someone elses actions which is a huge bummer, too.
I just wish there was a good way to be straight-up with bosses and say like "Hey, You wont find me barhopping and showing up to work hungover but I do smoke weed after work to relax my sore body and mellow out so I can come back in the next day and kick-ass", but sadly there just really isn't nor would it be a good idea. Ill never tell an employer about my off-the-clock activities because that shit will be the rope that hangs you if you're aren't careful but its also a thing of just being able to handle your shit like an Adult. I am still blown away I was never ever fired for being stoned out of my mind at jobs in the past, and never will it happen again. Incredibly dumb shit to do, I don't care how well you can handle your highs.
People can say the same about partyhounds though. Like I work with a dude who is the definition of a dirtbag skibum and hes a cool guy but damn, going out to the bars everynight when you gotta be to work by 5:45am catches up to you eventually and it always never ends well. Its just a matter of how badly you fuck up or how much its gonna cost to fix your fuck ups lol
oldmanskiYes and yes........ they just needed to say, yeah, its going to be dirty. They would still have a job, of course there would be a disciplinary action(like get some help) and once it was clean, be back on track. It is a double edge sword of course and every circumstance is different, it just sucks being the person to say, you are let go.
OregonDeadU guys still test for weed? IMO bad for business unless it’s required by the government for a CDL or something.

BigPurpleSkiSuitI hate wind now
Titus69Yo is the wave open? Might send around 11 tomorrow for a bit then Sunday, looks warmer.
BigPurpleSkiSuitIt was open in the morning, closed around 12. It should open tomorrow, hopefully not as windy
Titus69Word regardless that one we hit to the right of it was fun, looks like a warmish and low wind weekend.
BigPurpleSkiSuitOnce the wind picked up it became unhittable. We were dropping from so high up but you couldn't get speed because of the wind
Titus69Damn, looks like a chance of snow there right now lol, but not super bad wind speed today, as long as it's not constant probably gonna go up regardless today but kinda worried snow will be pretty hard though.
BigPurpleSkiSuitSays sunny. Im going up at 9
Titus69Gonna send around 11ish probably, gotta wait on a late sleeper claiming they'll get up at 10, so well see lol.
OregonDeadDon’t fall for that shit on a ski day mang. If you have your own wheels I vote you ditch them and go.
Too many times I’ve had people drag and basically take up my whole ski day.
DeebieSkeebiesJune 8th and we're still loading the truck up with ski gear to go take some lift laps. Fuck yeah.
