Granite_StateMaybe but I dont think thats the case in NH. It was literally crumbs in the bag though so maybe he let me off easy. Similar thing happened to one of my roommates. He got "arrested" (got to park his car across the street and rode shotgun uncuffed to the station). He ended up with like $440 in fines but transfered them all to community service. So idk...
DeebieSkeebiesCampusBookRental can eat a fucking dick. costs me nearly half the price to buy them used on amazon vs. using their scam of a service. Fuck that.
ANDR01DFirst day of school! Stoked about all of my classes, even though they are going to be more than challenging haha.
Also, I finally got to move into my new place as of last Thursday. It is soooo much nicer sleeping in my bed after two weeks of couch surfing.
Chubz.Im really happy I'm not going back to school this fall.
DeebieSkeebieshell yeah, dude. got such a nice schedule, very relaxed for it being a full-time schedule. All morning classes that end before noon practically and a few in the afternoon on Tuesdays, hoping I can kill it and go take laps after class when the snow comes back.
Eazy-E.Im done before 10 mon wed and fri
ANDR01DI do research, so I'm never really done :(....I just call it quits for the day around 4

NinetyFourOn a serious note though, do you have to take any trade school for your job? Or is just straight up apprenticeship? Even though I'm an apprentice I still have to go to "college" for two months a year, for four years before I'm fully licensed.
Minggthere are asian boys throwing spears outside my window.
Chubz.Go speak to them in your native tongue
RachySigned up for a house sitting site. It cost me $100 to join, but I'm now up to 7 weeks in 3 month with Free Rent!
Here's hoping I can land some international one soon!
This is a real thing. Not spam. :) now to continue working remote and living rent free!
FinkleI need to get my foot in the door in the ski industry... where to start...blehhhh. I'm sick of cooking food for rich people.
MinggDo you go from house to house or is it just one house for that long? Sounds like it could make for some epic couch surfing haha
RachyFirst spot was in Culver City (West Los Angeles) for this lady's 19 year old cat for a week.
The next one is for the same lady and for 3 weeks. She said even if the cat dies between now and then, she feels more comfortable with me staying there and not having her place look vacant. (she also gave me the procedures incase the cat dies while I'm there--she's expecting it sooner than later).
Then for October I'll be in Placerville... not the coolest spot ever, but it's a super nice house and I'll be expecting DingoSean to come hang out with me. Apparently I can leave for up to 8 hours at a time and it's pretty close to S. Lake Tahoe, so I'll probably go hang out there on occasion as well.
It was surprisingly easy, it just sort of takes being one of the first responses and saying that you can meet their dates with out any issues.
NinetyFourWhere do you want to go within the industry?
FinkleThat's a great question. I would love working with a company and starting small honestly. I'm really looking for, in the the long run, represent a company and help build there brand. I Might not be a professional skier but it is my absolute passion in life and has been since I was a child. I want to work with branding all the way to HR work. My passion is what drives me, I have worked as a chef for 8 years. In the same restaurant, slowly climbing the ladder. As much as I love food. I love skiing and the mountain lifestyle so much more. I love the idea of marketing and running a brands social media. Also sales and product testing. Honestly I just want to learn. And am willing to learn anything and everything. I'm not a college graduate. I was a nursing student who fell in love my chef job because I loved to cook and the hours allow me to ski 100+ days a year. I'm in northern New York and would love to work in Vermont or in Colorado. But I would never put a limit of where I would travel for a great opportunity.

Titus69So waiting to turn left into walmart a guy in his mid 20s pulls up behind me in his newer silverado (no douche mods), I notice he smirks and laughs a bit, whips out his phone and takes a picture of the stickers on my rear windshield which are a "I
