Detoxing

I've been thinking about doing a detox for a bit, I feel mega unhealthy so I'm thinking about going for a week to a month long detox.

I was just wondering, have any of you done a detox?
What was the detox plan, how long did you do it for and how did you feel?

i thought detoxing was from drugs, are you talking about that hollywood bullshit where you eat a lot of cayenne pepper or some other retarded shit that is supposed to detox you? its all bullshit btw

shit gets out of your body naturally if you eat healhy detoxing is a fucking hoax to trick people into wasting their money, it probably makes you shit like the fucking devil after he beerbonged a pot of coffee but its probably just a laxative or some bullshit that isnt really doing any good other than making you shit your brains out

if you wanna detox, go for 3 days strictly eating leafy green vegetables, and drinking a ton of water.

The fiberous veggies will act like a pipe cleaner, and get clean your intestines, and the water helps with that too.


Also sit in a sauna/steam room twice a day to help sweat out any more impurities.


But honestly, why not just start eating healthy...NOW?!

I did this for two days and I felt a little better overall. And be aware, just like most detox programs, you'll gain the weight back right after it's over.

Get a colonic. They flush out your colon and intestines by sticking a hose up your bum pumping some water in then flushing it out. I guess thats probably the fastest and easiest bet.

just do a food detox. go a month with drinking only water, eating only at meals like no snacking, dont eat too salty. have lots of fruits and vegetables and protein. Nothing like junk food or candy or anything fat. And no alcohol. I guarantee you will feel really good after. I do that a couple times a year to like cleanse myself and it feels great. Accomplishing too.

Dooo it!

I started a workout routine with a friend a few months ago and we would hit the gym on an average of 6 times a week. I also changed my diet on the days where I would "grind" with a goal of losing some fat. I would wake up and make smoothies and have salads for lunch. Every day I was stoked to go workout and felt amazing with a balanced diet.

Going through that phase really did change me. I look better, feel better, and I have become so much more productive.

Hey Anna, I've looked into detox's alot and bought a couople of books on them etc. I discussed with my mum whios a renal specialist nurse and she said they are not really worth putting your body through the stress of totally excluding everything, and i took her advice and didnt go fully extreme but ate plenty of FRESH fruit and vegies, like nothing processed, and drink plenty of water and fresh (like make yourself) juices (i bought a juicer, its awesome) and yeah maybe cut back on shit meat and or saturated fats. Basically eat raw and fresh vegies and a lean protein source (i like tofu and beans). Sure you'll crave shit foods like anyone. I dont know one person that doesnt crave sugar or bad fats sometimes. after giving your body that crap for so long its like a drug and you become "reliant" on it, but break that cycle and your body will feel great and your mind alot clearer after a few weeks.

Basically, feed your body good food and it will reward you. It's a simple concept but hard to adopt.

I get why you want to do it- I wanted to do something like this, too, but I have issues with my blood sugar, so I could never to an actual cleanse. I tried doing the raw foods diet for a week and even that was impossible. I'm even a vegetarian (well was at the time) and it was so rough to not be able to cook anything and not use even salad dressings or anything. I felt deprived and it sucked. I tried veganism for a couple weeks and it was SO MUCH BETTER.... in my opinion of course.
