When did skiing and smoking weed become lame?

Use to go hand and hand. now i see people saying its lame.

 whats going on here people? freeskiing is getting a little lame in my eyes. sure people are doing triple flips and skiing is in the 2014 games.

But what happened to skiing being fun and free, and doing what u want and not caring.

Its just a reaction to the endless dribble of kids coming on here making threads thinking that they were the first person to ever get high and go skiing. We don't even talk about it in my circle, its just a given... or not if you don't do it. No one cares.

You don't have to smoke weed for it to be enjoyable, personally i think its lame cause it just seems pointless to me, doesn't really do much. but i don't care as long as your having fun its cool

Smoke is bad. Weed is in no way ever been proven, besides in the notoriously corrupt studies performed by the Nixon administration, to have any negative effects. Some scientists in Japan have actually linked weed to brain cell growth. weed does not cause lung cancer, brain cancer, any type of cancer, or decreased brain functionality if used in good moderation. Being high for 24 hours straight will eventually fuck you up but if you give yourself time to chill between highs you are fine. Smoke, however, does contain carcinogens and paralyzes cilia in the respiratory tract (smoker's cough). These are far less than in cigarettes still. Solution is a bong or vape. Don't let people scare you off of it, make your own decisions and do your own research.

You just said that there have been no studies except for ones by the Nixon administration and then you mentioned other studies and you said it did not cause any type of cancer but then you mentioned it has carcinogens. Well put

Weed is bad? Watch the documentary "Super High Me" The weed version of Supersize me. Guy smokes weed everyday for 30 days, and gets smarter. Facts:

The S.A.T: Sober: 980/1600 High: 1030/1600

His sperm count went up 11 million/mL

He gained 8 pounds

His lung capacity only went down 3% from smoking EVERY day for a month. Lets be honest, most people who smoke don't smoke everyday as much as he did. That's just my take on it haha

I don't believe it, there is no way around it, smoking weed makes some people border line retarded. Sure some people can smoke all the time and not be affected, but some people just go to shit on that stuff.

maybe in your group of NY ass buddies but in the real world, just about every skier i have met either blazes on the reg. or have done it before on multiple occasions... and trust me i've met WAY more skiers than you have.

I think it's lame when people go overboard on their rasta outfits/themes when it comes to equipment/outerwear. Maybe it's just me but it seems like people try too hard to make a statement of how much they blaze and how jah they are. Unless you're T-Hall or Spriggs.

read the post before you answer it. He said SMOKE contains carcinogens, not marijuana. The burning of any substance produces tar, which eventually can cause cancer. SMOKING weed is bad for you, but the only negative aspects of it come from the SMOKING part. If you vape weed, it doesn't sear the inside of your lungs and doesn't deposite tar in your lungs to decrease your lung capacity and cause you to cough up phlem, etc. If you vape, there are literally NO negative side effects that can come from being high, aside from just being fucked up all the time. Solution=vape in moderation. That way, you keep a relatively low tolerance, don't damage your brain, and aren't making a fool of yourself constantly. /end rant.
