Cam Caddie or Glidecam Stuntbar

I was thinking about buying one of these. Glidecam stunt bar $90 or Cam Caddie $40

That will not stabilize your footage. It's simply an extension bar...you could easily make literally the exact same thing for under $50...

Stunt bar is useless/a ripoff. If you like the idea then build your own with a piece of angle iron and a handle for less than $15. The "scorpion" might somewhat stabilize your footage and make follow cams easier, but you could also build the same thing for less than $15-20.

Thats what I was thinking. I will try and make my own and if it doesn't work well I will buy the cam caddie. I only wanted one to make follows easier.
