everything in this thread is "Well the ____ can also do that." Obviously both platforms measure up pretty equal. Iphones are great phones. So are many Android phone(i haven't used a laptop since i got my droid x).

I'm just sick of all the trendy hype about apple.

Honestly this is the same in any market for a type of product. Its just how it is.
For example:
The Wii Started (As far as I know) the Whole Moving System or whatever it is called with the controllers and not long after Xbox and Ps3 Intigrated a form of motion control into their platforms. Does that make them worse than Wii becasue they use the same sort of idea Wii implemented first. NO there all solid systems and have competed well against each other.
The Iphone and Driod are both solid phones and they both compete against each other well. Its like telling somebody with an xbox a ps3 is better or vice versa.The person with a ps3 will be on their dick and the person with the xbox will be on their dick. There is no winner its just a dam phone and there both pretty dam cool.

maybe this is an age thing but....do you guys and gals spend enough time to tell the difference. I recently just got an iphone for college graduation and everyday I am like "holy shit technology kicks ass." To me a phone is a phone I try to spend as little as much time on it, but then again there is the difference between people living on the web and living outside. Yet I too am guilty of living on them interwebs....and this is where i stop rambling
