When you run your t-shirt moves up and down, that movement rubs on your nipples. The friction on your nipples makes them tender. Open wounds form and blood starts to flow out. When the salt from your sweat rubs on the open wounds you start feeling pain. Experts call this Nipple Chafing!

Protip: don't have meaty mantits before running a marathon.


Otherwise, be a fucking champ and use Vaseline on every single part of your body that is prone to chafing.

i think it's really only a problem that people with fat, puffy nipples get. and dont wear heavy shirts that chafe and scratch at you either. it's all about those light, fully-cotton shirts that are all stretchy

dude, when i run for cross country the logo of my jersey would rub against my nipple and make it bleed, but now before every race i put tape on my nipples so they dont chafe.

usually by the end of the race the sweat is making the tape lose it stickiness, if not i just make a freshman rip it off for me. ripping the tape off is much better than a raw nipple.

oh this is painful to look at.

they actually make stuff to prevent nipple chafe. its called ultra glide and looks like a mini deodorant stick. a kid on my team uses it

that's nothing compared to chafing on your lower half (happened to me in tofino while surfing could barely walk it hurt so bad)
