I was wondering why this hadn't been posted, but I assumed it was cos NS has to be PG and all.
Honestly, I loved the skiing but I'd love to see all the ski shots in a shorter part that I can watch on the regular, without it being 60% gore. The edit is so sick, but if it were pure skiing I'd watch it more often for sure. Gnarley Charley doing the most insane presses, mind = blown.
That was an awful edit, I didn't even make it half way before I started skipping parts. The only impressive part I saw was some of Charleys presses, other than that why to much filler and average park skiing IMO.
I'm sorry this was fucking terrible. I feel like they took 3 days of footage, sorted it by skier, threw it all in, added horror scenes to push what should have been 5min max to 15min. No one had any style aside from max hill and two other guys but I have no idea who the fuck they were cause they used nicknames no one has ever heard of. The worst was the Hick kid by far.
Now I'm cool with tight pants, presses, tranny finders and all that shit, but there was absolutely no style at all, most tricks were sloppy as shit. Like it was just ridiculous, sloppy skiing on top of about 10min of people dying.
I have half of those movies sitting on the shelf across the room, I don't need to see them when I want to watch skiing.
There were a few good rail tricks, 2 good jumps, a handful of good tranny finders and that's it. The rest is straight fucking trash.
i really wanted to like this video alot because i love the whistler park scene and leigh powis especially but they really over did it with the horror editing stuff. a little bit wud be cool , but it was just waaaay too much. there was also way to much mediocre skiing in the edit too. it shud have been a 5-6 min video with a little bit of horror shots and it wud have been banger.
props for the creative edit leigh, but u just went too far...
I really hated it too, but this morning i downloaded it and edited out all the gore and it is actually a really sweet edit. The skiing is way more enjoyable when you are not trying to anticipate when a mans head is getting cut off.
