Alright so i know ill probably gonna get a lotta hate for this but i know some people do like Lil Wayne on here. But whatever with the 3 singles that have dropped so far I'm real excited for this album and I wanna hear what you guys have to say about it.

Word, thats the lil wayne i fell in love with. And then i went and downloaded Da Drought, and Dedication series. His newer shit aint bad and most songs have pretty dope beats, but he was in his prime during Carter 2.

the thing is, i appreciate a number of mainstream artists, yet i am still able to find the time to hate lil waynes awful style, nonsensical lyrics and plainly fucking retarded content.


i love lupe fiasco, i would consider him mainstream. and occasionally i hear a rick ross song i like. and t-pain? nigga i love t-pain. those are just a few examples of the most mainstream artists i can enjoy listening to. i mean fuck dude, i even listen to drake. i love drake. do you realize how fucking mainstream and gay drake is? but i still hate lil wayne. because he is awful. not because hes mainstream, but because hes a fucking idiot.

i like some of his stuff and i dislike some of his stuff...
he gets a lot of hate. more hate than he should...

but my friend and i were talking, if you were at a party and someone was rapping some of the shit that wayne raps people would be enjoying it a lot and laughing a lot. he has some funny shit.

So i dont know if any of you guys saw this but Wayne was on Unplugged last night on MTV and did a new song, Nightmares of the Bottom off Tha Carter IV which was actually pretty intelligent song I thought

I personally am not a Wayne fan. I find his music to have no rhythm nor order, and I think that if he actually sat down and put some work into his music instead of "spitting" he would live up to his full potential, which is quite large I must admit. I believe he's as smart as people say he is...but he's also a stupid shit.
