What does "Stop running script" mean?!

Whenever I change the page (on NS only) My computer freezes for a couples seconds and a pop-up comes up and says

"Stop running script?

If you dont, your computer will become unresponsive" blah blah blah.."

IS IT JUST ME? Because this just started today and its really annoying, and I cant even click any forum links hahah. I had to ask someone for the link to site Discussion just to make this thread.

im on IE and it used to only happen every once in a blue moon on and only newschoolers.com. Ive tried switching to firefox, but it blocks like almost all pictures.........

yeah my mac is running NS normally, but any time i'm on a PC at school, that message pops up. it's damn annoying, but at least it doesn't happen on my home computer.

Change to Google Chrome it is the best and the fastest.

Or if your a Facebook addict use RockMelt it is based on Google Chrome !!!!

It's a problem at school, the computers only have ie so that creates an issue since it seems ie has the most problems.

We've been trying to narrow down what causes it but since IE only says "OMG SOMETHING IS BROKE" and doesn't offer anything useful in the way of pinpointing the problem, we haven't been able to resolve it yet. It does look like its related to something in the ads, that may have been broken by an IE update recently, but we're honestly a little stumped.

We are working on it, sorry for that annoyance

You're failing to understand that a lot of users can not use other browsers when at work or school, they are subject to IE...I'm sure they would if they could.
