Did we just take a picture of a fkn ghost?!?!??

I'm going to need your opinion here NS.  

Myself and a friend went on a tour of the 1800s mills I work in with one of the maintainance guys, and we were taking pics all over the place of cool and spooky looking shit.  I asked the guy to bring us to the creepiest spots or areas that had spooky stories etc.  I posted a bunch of them in the scary stories/hotel thread, and when I clicked on one of the pics and it went full size, I noticed something FUCKING WEIRD.

This is a photo of a catwalk that goes over a factory floor to a central access system tied in with the old frieght elevators.  There was NOTHING on this catwalk besides the red barrels in the foreground.  Even without the flash, you could see clearly to the other end.  Now click on the picture and zoom in on the far side...  Does that look like a white figure looking back at us?  It sure as fuck wasn't there when we took the picture. 

I have in no way tampered with or photoshopped this pic.  So what do you think NS?  Am I gonna have to sleep on this catwalk for a whole night to find out?

Definitely looks like there's something there. Creepy. I'd definitely do some more investigation. Even if there are no ghosts, your mind will probably fuck with you enough to make it scary as hell. Bring a video camera so you can share the experience with your fellow NSers.

but ghosts are useless if you notice them after you get home. only cool if you're around them and they're scaring the shit out of you.

no it's an illusion created by the poles. it's basically a vanishing point where the poles are so far away and the angle makes them look like a larger form than just individual poles.

it's just the background light reflecting of the copper tubing that runs down the length of that cat walk. i just zoomed in on it.

here's another pic snapped about a few seconds earlier.  You can clearly see there's nothing down there.  No shadows.  No barrells.  No extra poles.  No white figures staring at us...

Really tho...  Just to bring you up on what this place is, here's a few links to some history.  Place has a dark past dating back to the early 1800s.

This freakishly small staircase (you had to crouch way over to go through it) was located at one end of the catwalk in question that was attached to the regular, full sized staircase as if it were an accessway.  You could lock the doors to it from either side- as in if someone locked you in from the outside, you'd be trapped inside.  This was the inside of the door to get out of that tiny, winding brick staircase to the catwalk...

zoom in to just left of the last poles at around 525% or so you should be able to see the outline of a figure pretty easily. 

Fuck I wish I would have seen it but honestly I didn't see shit.  I was looking down there while we were snapping pics and not a damn thing.

There is nothing there. Its a light/shadow thing. At best its a blurry looking bit of light... it is not an outline of a figure or anything like that. This is simply a case of you making yourself believe there is something there when there isn't; probably because you're an idiot and you think ghosts exist.

while this is clearly true, I don't believe in ghosts and even though I've had weird things happen to me while in the mills, I can't honestly say it was ghosts or any of that shit.  I wasn't scared at all when we were going through there, we were actually laughing and having a blast exploring...  It was just odd to see something like that after I clicked on the photo to blow it up because I didn't see anything even remotely like that when we were taking them, and for a fkn flash/dust/optical illusion, it looks a lot like a dude you've got to admit... 

Besides, people like getting scared and this is def a pretty creepy place even without photo apparition shenanigans so I figured I'd share it.
