Replying to talked to soldier from Iraq
Well at a family cookout a while ago I got the chance to talk to a friend of the family who was part of the first group to invade Iraq from Kuwait. He carried with him money from money that he traded for in Iraq, one bill before and another one after Saddam came into power. He also told some interesting stats about the invasion. The one that stuck out the most in my mind is that 6,000 Iraqs where killed in the first week... this was their group alone, higher than what the media leads on eh? The orders about engaging the enemy was as followed, 'Shoot anything that appears as a threat to you.' He said he doesn't know how many Iraqs he shot himself but it never really seemed to affect him mentally about taking another human life, just thought as them not as people but the enemy. It wasnt all about killing the enemy he told us about there was a statue of Saddam, the same size as the one that was pulled down and made headlines everywhere, that they lined the neck of the statue with C4 and blew the head off the statue. Asked what they did with it and he said they brought it back to America and it is now at the base they lived at. It's really cool to actually hear some truth about the war for once, like what is actually going on.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.
