Fuck cancer and fuck cigarettes

Aright im probably gonna get hated on for this but at the moment i dont really give a fuck. not a single fuck.

Today my uncle got taken of his chemo therapy because theres no long a point to keep him on it. Hes dying. He chain smoked a good portion of his life and now hes not the only one paying the consequences. Hes the only blood relative i have in america besides my dad mom and sister (my parents and him are from poland). When he was younger he rock climbed, traveled the world, skied, backpacked and now hes stuck in a fucking bed. Today i had my father come to me in tears telling me that hes getting taken off the chemo. I dont even know what to do with myself either. My uncle doesnt speak much english at all, doctors cant even tell him whats happening to him, and he has no way of communicating with them. And honestly im crying as i type this because i know hes laying in a hospital bed, suffering, and hes going to suffer up until the second he dies.

I know that deep down if you smoke, this probably wont stop you from lighting up again, but im hoping that maybe the thought of your loved ones crying for you, because they know how much youre suffering. and because they know their going to lose someone they love will impact you in some way.

Can't imagine being in your shoes. So sorry to hear about that. I'm almost tearing up just thinking of what you're facing, along with your uncle. My Grandpa smoked and died a little while back partly because of it. Vibes man!

really sorry about your loss man, i'm afraid i have two grandparents steadily headed towards this. they've both been chain smoking for decades, as well as my dad. once again, vibes.

Vibes bro! Thankfully i haven't lost anyone close to cancer but my friends mom died earlier this season due to cancer and i think it absolutely killed him! Keep your head up man, stay strong and if he does slip out....hes in a better place!! *FUCK CANCER*

Vibes man.
Shit like that is tough to deal with. I went through the same thing with my grandfather, only I was too young to really know the weight of his death. He was one of the most influential people in my life at the time, and the things I remember him teaching me and telling me I still follow to this day.

Out there are many things that can kill you and I if we as freeskiers and freeriders don't know it, who else? But out of all of them, smoking is one of the most senseless things. This is why I never started.

smoking is fucked. my uncle died at 46 from lung cancer due to second hand smoke- never smoked a day in his life (but everyone in our family does). You can do whatever you want, but as soon as your decisions fuck with other people, it really pisses me off. one of the real shitty things about Europe- everyone smokes over here.

They are all pretty bad, but now Austria is the worst since it is one of the few countries (maybe the only country) in the EU where you can still smoke in a bar/restaurant. Even France outlawed that shit.

Mom DAMN near died from breast cancer, I'll never forget my dad telling me she might not be around in a few months, mind you I was about 7 or so. Dad had melanoma.

My gramps got lung cancer 4 years ago. He quit cold turkey with my grandma 11 years ago after smoking for 38 years. He picked up the habit in vietnam and it took him a long time to quit but they did it for me and my brothers. He had to have the bottom half of his left lung cut out and the bottom third of his right lung cut out because of the habit and now he is currently doing really well and they say that his body is pretty much back to normal besides him being a little short of breath when he exercises. It's amazing what the human body can do to recover from the shit that we do to ourselves.

Smoking is a nasty habit and both my brothers do it and I just haven't ever wanted to try it after seeing what my grandpa went through. Its not worth the money or my life.

I know exactly how you feel. My grandmother has really severe COPD from smoking for 50 and its killing her slowly. She chokes on her own breath every day and it is really hard to watch. The medications she's on has changed her personality, she is no longer the same woman she used to be. It sucks because she's turned into a crazy person, a really bitchy crazy person, and it makes her almost intolerable to be around.

Fuck cancer and fuck cigarettes.

Most of my close friends smoke. My bestfriend's dad died from emphysema and he smokes the most out of all of us. I used to smoke for about 8 or 9 months. But then my blood pressure got really really high and i was guessing from being overweight and smoking. Quit smoking and started working out and eating right and my blood pressure dropped. Made me feel really proud. I don't know why my friends smoke its fucking dumb. I'm so over cigs and weed. Its just not worth it.
