I guess you could make the argument I never said skiing was my life. I simply said I LOVED it enough that it really really sucks not to be able to. And damn man I though that was a skiing website, guess I'll take up knitting or something because I get the impression that unless you make your life about skiing you don't deserve to love it. I can love what I want, and just because I really really am passionate about something it doesn't mean I HAVE to toss up other opportunities for it, there's other things I love like volleyball, man I actually love it so much, and I'm not in season now so it really sucks for me, but you don't see fellow volleyball players chirping me for saying that I'm super passionate about it. My future is gonna be through my education - getting a university degree is super important to me but it's the things that I do outside of my education that make my life worth living.

hey Im in my mid 20s, have had the 100+ ski day seasons out in Summit, and will be skiing this summer as well in Oregon. I am making plays. 

But i stand by that this thread was started and followed up upon by younger people than us.  People who are too young to be playmakers, and too young to be shat upon for not being said playmakers.  Their time will come, but until then, give them the benefit of the doubt that they are doing all they can with the resources available to them - and deserve to be nostalgic about their seasons when the snow melts away...

I broke my kneecap on march 16th and havn't skied since. I want to ski soooooooooooooooooo fucking much, and hopefully i'll make it down to abasin before they close. but i hear it will be July 4th this year :)
