Should i De Tune my edges?

I have recently bought a new pair of Atomic Punx and i am finding that when i slide boxes my egdes track to the box. Should i de tune my edges and if so, how should i do it and how much should it be filed down?

Use your penis.

But for real, you probably don't need to tune them down. Just hit some rails and they will detune naturally.

Use a sanding sponge not a file.

why? I used a file to detune mine and it worked fine?

To op I'd say go for it unless you ski alot of big mountain and stuff like that. It definitely changes your skiing style quite a bit. ( or that might just be for me because mine are pretty rounded off)When I detuned mine for the first time I could definitely feel the difference on rails(smoother) and on my hill.( I ride a tiny hill thats why I didnt really care if I detuned them, not like I get to ski on a real mountain very often

the best way to de tune is to buy a gummi stone or diamond stone from your local ski or hockey store. they are about 3-5 dollers and are your best bet. you CAN use a file, but go really gently.

Like said above, btw just detune the underfoot.
