need help on new boots

I wear size 12...ride park and pipe....need help finding new boots....looking to spend up at about 275 help me if u can

go to a ski shop and try a pair on all people preferances are difernt for a boot i think x wave 8 is great u night hate it try a pair on

1080's (green ones) are super comfy, but anything is better than my old blue lange race boots

I would go with either the 1080 pro or the regular 1080 models. They are both very similar. It just depends on the shape of your foot and the size you want. The 1080 has a wider platform for people with wider feet and the pro is a little bit stiffer, but you can always soften them or stiffen them a little bit. You should definitely try them on though. The best way to get a good feeling of the boot is to try it on and walk around in it for a few minutes.

im just riding some nordicas right now, i spent most of my funds on my skiis. I hea the 1080s are really soft though.

the regular 1080's r pretty soft but the 1080 pros r actually pretty stiff. I use them for mogul skiing and I still took the rivets out to soften them up a little bit.

i don't know why you shouldn't get race boots. You can control the skis better. There are some race boots which are pretty rideable in pipe.

the 1080 and the 1080 pro are nothing alike the pro is basicly the the x wave 10 with a few differences. the 1080 is a soft cushy boot good for mild park riding. go to the shop near you and try them on that is the only way to get the right fit good luck

go for comfort! Its best to try on every single boot, walk around in them. Finding boots should be a long process, everyone has a different fit. Dont just base your decision on what people say here, go try them on for yourself.

the reason you dont get race boots for park skiing is because they are way too stiff for park...and your shins wont be happy after a day of hitting jumps.
