Maid job at whistler

a friend told me about this, its a sweet job, you go around cleaning the hotel rooms, and all the tourist buy all this sweet equipment and just leave it there when they go home, because they are never going to use it again, and they give huge tips, so you make so much money, is it true though

I work at a hotel in Whistler (not as a maid) and no, they don't leave their equipment behind. The do leave money, clothes, and lots and lots of food, (if the suite has a kitchen.) I talked to some housekeepers at work and they said the never ever need to buy groceries because the fridges in the rooms are always full of unopened stuff when people leave.

yea i work at a hotel as a maid in whistler...and no not a lot of stuff is really left behind...except food...and sometimes money...ive never really gotten huge tips anywhere that ive worked in hotels though.

I did some housecleaning for a couple of weeks in Whistler. You don't get many tips because they go to the people the guests actually see. My friend worked at the Westin and he didn't have to buy any food the whole time he was there. Another guy I knew worked for a cleaning company that cleaned all the condos, this is where all the good shit like bottles of alcohol are left, but not expensive equipment, that's a myth.

I worked for an intrawest resort as a bellhop/valet at a 5star hotel I ate and drank like a king all winter and didnt even spend any paychecks I made 7 bucks an hour and throughout the whole winter I never got stiffed on a tip a single time. Im tellin you bellhoppins where its at (except when your shoveling cars out) but you get to meet all the rich patrons daughters.

bigskyhottie knows whats up. if u even serve at a place like tgi friday/applebees/ruby tuesday's u can make like 200 in tips on a good nite. most ppl make 200 in a week. so if u serve at a nicer place u can easily double that.
