DJ bike help

I'm in the market for a new dj bike, but i need some help. i cant decide between a hardtail/ 100mm fork or a more slopestyle bike like the banshee rampant. I've heard great things about both types and i know they will both get the job done. anyone have some experience to reccomed me a frame to start with?

it really just depends on your personal preference.

personally, i hate hardtails and like to have some rear suspension for any kind of dirt jumping. that said, you definitely lose a lot of your ability to pump trannies, so depending on how much pumping you need to do at your local park, you should consider that.

one other thing is that the banshee will probably be a lot more versatile. idk if you have other bikes for dh/xc/etc but hardtail dj bikes are kind of a bitch for anything but dj, so take that into consideration

you're not taking about the kind of dj i was hoping for, so i'll leave you with a cool story.
one time my friend took his dirt jump bike off a 21 set and popped both his tires at the same time.

i have a NS traffic hardtale frame, and i love it.. it seems to be that hardtale is more versitile because you dont needa tune your rear suspension as well. also stay away from marzocchi DJ series forks, they are terrible. so really its up to what you wanna spend/ ride.

i have an ns suburban and love it my buddy also rocks the spank tweet tweet, if you actually want to dj i would say go hardtail, yeah the banchee is going to be able to do more things but it will do some of them not as well, maybe check out the blackmarket kill switch its expensive but it jumps like a hardtail and can also do slope

What are your trails like? All I can say at the moment is the Banshee is probably the nicest bike you will ever ride; things are AMAZING.

yeah so i've narrowed it down between the banshee rampant and a NS metropolis 2. one is full suspension, the other is 1500 cheaper... haha.

this is going to be my only bike. i had a custom santa cruz bullet set up with 7/8" respectie travel, but I never got around to riding it enough to keep it.
