if any of you have gotten your license since September 18th you know about this lame ass 6 month rule. Yeah i got pulled over for having someone in the car..126 dollar fine,lose my license for 30 days..and my 6 months is restarted. YAY!

oh,i didnt know that..i though i had it bad. but,what sucks even more was i coulda gotten out of this restricted license..my drivers ed class ended like 4 days after the cut off date

the 6 month rule is thast you can have anyone under the age of 20 in your car,and if they are 20 or older they must have had their license for 2 consecutive years. its lame

for vt, u cant have anyone cept like parents in the car, after 3 months u can only have family in the car with u, after 6 months u can have friends too. this was passed like 2 years ago which sucks. but at least im not a new jersien. haha, we get permits at 15

ben, its 6 months you can only have people who are 20 or older and have had thier license for 2 years, only immediate family, no friends from the date you pass your test until 6 months later....i can drive people september first! yaaaaaay, but yeah maine has gay driving rules like that...

ahaha, yeah, i got pulled over for speeding after having my lisence for 29 days, i was going 58 in a 35 criminal speeding, but i'd been going like, 65 then i saw the cop...but he was like 'i know that if i ticketed you it would really mess up your summer because you can't drive blah blah blah' i was soooo happy. and it was the chief haha

Let me tell you little bastards about the good ole days. 30 multiple choice questions, BAM you got your learners at 14. At 16 you take a 10 minute driving test and as long as you didn't hit any peds and didn't have too much booze on your breath BAM! you got your license. Cost about $100 total. Well I gotta go, there's a shuffle board tournament in the lounge, Bob Barker and I won it last year.

um, cops can't pull you over for suspecting 'illegal transportation of persons' so you were probably speeding you dumb fuck. I was pissed at first when I couldn't legally drive people even though i did, but after 6 months i was definately a much more chill driver than I was at first.

I live in NJ and i have my permit, and I am 16 years old. I get my restricted license at 17, which is one person in the car, and then a WHOLE YEAR until Im 18 is when i get my full unrestricted license. So stop complaining

NY has that rule,but it started august,but maybe our dmv isnt enforcing it,b/c my friend is younger than me (we're both born after augst) and he got his license
