I have really nice in-ear headphones that I love, but I always end up using apple buds for skiing because otherwise I can't hear what the fuck my friends are saying on the lift.

Hmmm well my mom wants me to wear a new helmet next season, cause I got a new one.  So I got these.  Thanks for the update but i still like them, friends say their a little queer looking, they need to see it with the correct attire on, right? :)

Don't ever buy skullcandy (broken 5 pairs, each within a month) or siege headphones (broke the cheapest earbud in 2-3 days, used for maybe 10 hours). Granted you can warranty both and its a smooth process, its still a bitch to use a pair of headphones for 2-3, then send them in, then use the for another 2-3 days, then have to warranty them again.

Urbanears look pretty sweet. How durable are the in-earbuds? Also, how the bass on them?

Anyone used these? Their expensive but I have $. I liked my apple earbuds that came with my iPod, they sounded pretty good, and they lasted for like 6-8months. But their really uncomfortable if your using them for a long time.

you guys will not regret a pair of "vmoda bass freqs" they are legit the best ear buds i have ever purchased because the bass is so strong. and they are only 30 dollars.

I've only had 1 pair of skullcandies break, and that was after 2 years of daily use in skiing and DH MTB. I've only bought 1 pair of skullcandies, the FMJ, and also have 2 icons and some Ti's, all from prize handouts. Love them.

The FMJ's were the ones that broke, so I got them replaced with the Holua, and they are the shit. Fit in your ear really well and have great sound quality. In-line mic hookup is really convenient as well.

skullcandy buds are good when your alone. Good sound but you cant hear shit even all the way down so with friends i use 9.99 gummys! They the shit!

Apple headphones are the best for me cause it's so useful having a little button on the wire to pause/change song etc without having to get your iPhone/iPod out every time you wanna change something. Also they stay in well, suprisingly durable and can be worn perfectly well with a helmet.

This. I had 3 pairs of skullcrushers and the bass never lasted more than a month. That said, they did keep hooking me up with free ones, but it was too much hassle to send out for a new pair every month. Great company, shitty product.

I like frends and aerial 7s. But i am weird about music+riding. I have to either drown everything else out with music, or have no music at all. If i only have one headphone in I get all fucked up and fall for some reason.

i dont have a RED but i would say no, i just go around my neck and put them up on my ears when im skiing, and usually have them loud. it works out
