In your opinion what is the best boot out on the market right now? From experience which boot was the best for your type of riding and what boot let you down?

hmm, I liked the 1080 boot a lot, but thought it was to sloppy, so I'm getting the pro model boot which should be near perfect.. for me at least..

the nordica beasts are too stiff if you ride in the park alot... lange is very comfortable and a great boot if you can fit into them... salomon 1080 is decent for the price

^ you my friend are a fool......the beasts are park specific boots.....i rarly leave the park and they are the softest boots i have ever had on my feet....they have springs in the heals to abosrb shock

Go with tecnica, that's what i've been riding for years, super badass boots. Get one of the top race models, real skinny profile for deep carving, also they are real stiff.

nothing comes close to the comfort and preformance of Kneissl or Raichle Flexon's with a thermo liner. Best boots ever.

i got my Lange jib boots (whatever their called) thermo fit with footbeds, comfortable as all hell...thank god i got the work for free though..footbeds and custom fit shit is expensive

ive used 1080 boots a few days though, super comfortable

You just need to go in and try them on. I ski a Tecnica boot that is stiff as fuck. But Tecnica fit my foot nice. Get the tightest fitting boot you can get your foot into and once it packs out it will be sweet. Some of the boots you are keen on may not fit your foot shape at all, so go and check them out in the shop.
If you want to look like a real punter. Put them on and go for a walk around the shop in them.

i used to have the 1080 boot, but recently got the lange comp 100. perfect consistent flex and it has a higher build then the 1080, such a nice boot.

everyone is gonna have a difference of opinion because everyone fits into a boot differently... but there are a few parameters that I have come up with consistently when talking to ppl about boots: 1)If your foot is small and narrow- go for a lange 2) bigger wider feet fit better with dalbello and nordica, 3) Salomon and Rossi are pretty average sized 4) so are techinca's but they have smaller toe boxes.... I ride Salomons and love them (I've had them for 5 years)





I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues

i used the soft 1's last year. i loved them. they wernt that stable at high speeds but amazing in the park. They give you pop, its crazy. i love em

Ski hobo: raichle flexons are comfortable but are literally Like MUSH on the flex I mean they are the softest boots in the world plus not to mention the durable of them is HORRIBLE and i have ridden the first soft boots from rossi and the flexons had more flex. Im sure they arent bad wit the a stiff tounge but I had so many problems with the buckles breakin on em so now im going with the most solid durable park specific boot ever-the salomon 1080 boot. Especially cause of the durablitity of the buckles and the boot itself.

nobody mentioned the Line Transfer. it was very similar to the flexons. i had sum and they finally died. awasome boots. the best thing about them is that you could set them up to have a good amount of rearward flex. not only does this COMPLETLY eliminate shinbang, but it also mad it real easy to get your weight over the tips for butters manuals, and rail presses. they felt fine at high speeds, you just have to adapt to a soft boot. unfortunatly, the buckles broke (only big flaw) and i now need to replace them with something similar. I am looking at the B2, langes, the 1080 and those new red diabello boots. if anyone has any other ideas or comments on the above boots, feel free to help me.

boots are 100% personal preference, everyones answer is gonna differ because we all have different feet. It might be easier if you narrow it down by telling us if you have a wide or narrow foot, and if you like a soft or stiff boot. When it comes down to it all high performance boots are gonna be great but one might be terrible for you because it doesnt fit your foot, go to a ski shop and try some differenct once on
Personally i have skied on technica my whole life and would never ski a different boot, i got surefoots in there and im loving it. Atomic has a new freeride boot coming out this year that have struck my interest that i might check out too
