Was at the dock loading shit into the boat to go fishing, I had my knife in my teeth, and my hands were full with rods and tackle boxes. Jumped into the boat and the knife fell out of my mouth and stick into heel. Left a quarter inch gash and started pouring out blood. I promptly cut off part of my swim trunks and wrapped it and kept on fishing well into the night.
Another one was another time in the same boat. My buddy had his knife stuck into a log in the boat and i accidentally stepped on it and it cut the shit out of my little toe. I cut off part of my shirt to wrap it and once again kept on fishing.
Not me, but my dad was on a ski trip many years ago with his law office at the time, and one of his friends tried to spray him with snow at the bottom of the hill, caught an edge, and tore his ACL and MCL. Missed out on cat skiing the next day.
don't know if this counts since i was little still..but you know how when you're little you drag you're hand on walls etc when you walk..well did this walking out the door grandma thought i was out and shut door. missing chunk of meat on tip of my ring finger...
i had my bro drive mu go-kart around the neighborhood while towing me on a bigwheel that somone was throwing out, and he goes around a corner at 20 mph and i turn hard and one rear wheel came off the bigwheel and i fell off but my hoodie causgt and i was dragged for a bit until my hoodie came off, i was wearing flipflop/sandle things and i had a giant spot where my foot dragged and i could see the bone!
I was shredding with a friend of mine, we were riding through some trees and then we came out at a cat track with a little drop down to it. I slid the side, my friend wound up catching an edge, fell about 12 feet to bellyflop on the cat track. He was in a lot of pain but we thought he was fine.... 7 hours later, after 3 hospital beds, 2 ambulance rides, 12 bags of blood and him being called in as dead during the ambulance ride, I finally work my way through the right people in the hospital and find out that he's out of the OR and in the ICU unconscious, after having not seen him for a few hours. He was about 10 minutes from complete, inevitable death. He had so little blood in his body for a while that the anesthesiologist didn't think they'd be able to put him under. Worst fucking day of my life, for a while I thought the next time I was going to see him was in the morgue.
Freak accident gone sooooo wrong. Shits terrible, vibes for everyone dealing with injuries.
