Look into the MFD Alltimes...theyre like a better trekker. Its like a plate that your normal bindings attatch to so that you can tour if you want. Sage has been using them all season, and they come out next year.

no one, not even the most experienced mountain guide is set on backcountry knowledge. The director of the wolf creek (in southern colorado) ski patrol died in an avalanche, INBOUNDS this winter, RIP. He was super knowledgeable and knew the terrain and snowpack very well.
As K_M said, its your life, do what you want with it, but i HIGHLY recommend you get educated before you go out of bounds.
NS is like your family. It's dysfunctional as hell but you still have to love it.
you should do ns a favor and go into the backcountry thinking ur set and die in an avalanche, because with your knowledge of skiing equipment i doubt you know how to work a transceiver or how to use a probe, oh wait you probably dont need one because ur a backcountry pro arnt you?
why did the dinosaurs die out?
because gnarwhals messed them up.-mdr.233.
I went skiing at Hoth Mountain Resort once and it was so cold that I had to cut an extra tall tauntaun in half with my lightsaber and wear it so I wouldn't freeze to death mid-afterbang.-elgato
Boom right there, you guys judge way too fast. Get trekkers of you are planning to go on small tours and you want spend less, or get dukes if you are planning on big tours and you ski agressively. Anyway you should go and ask on the tgr forums for better answers.
