What's a good lavalier microphone for skiing?

hey man, i'm a film student and have been looking into lavs for a short film im going to be shooting. My friends and I have been doing a lot of research and the Azden lavs you have already found seem to be the best for the $. I think you'll be fine with them. I'd suggest folding over a piece of gaffers tape like a flag into a triangle and sticking the mic between it. Then stick the triangle inisde someone's jacket. Hopefully that'll cancel out the noise from the wind as your subject is skiing. Good luck, pm me if you ever upload a test with it.

Yeah that tape thing sounds like a pretty good idea.
kinda thinking ahead for next year but ill probably put something together with it at hood. 

Also, the biggest con i hear about these is interference and static at longer distances.  Do you think it wouldn't be as bad out in the mountains where theres not as much going on compared to in a city or something?

cheapo azdens arn't bad, but you can get interference pretty much anywhere at any time
