wish i could help you but i dont knwo pc well, but right now it is dumping a real fine semi sticky snow and the wind is blowing real hard with some sick lightning i have the day ooff work tomorrow it should be epic.
^^in PC, ive found that the consensus is that canyons is the best mountain for pow in PC. I wouldn't know too much about it, since I'm almost always at PCMR, but with new snow, its hard to go wrong.
Deer Valley is pretty fun as well, with free Rossi demos at the base of empire lift (with s7's and bc110's), all you need is a credit card for deposit. They did this last year, but im not completely sure they're doing it this year... I dont see why not though. If you go there, I would suggest staying at Empire/Lady Morgan (Daly Chutes are super fun), or maybe Mayflower, where the steeper runs are, with smaller crowds.
If you go to PCMR, theres always a big rush to Jupiter, so if you get up there early enough, that's where most of the best terrain is (steeper, a few cliffs, big bowls). If you are just looking for tree skiing, then the trees off McKonkeys, Thaynes and Motherlode are usually pretty sick.
i didnt know there was axis on thursday... except for UOP.... hmm. well i will be up there around 1.... when its all gone...... school can suck it right now.
Oh I probably will. (Don't take this the wrong way axis coaches that are on here. You know I ♥ you guys.) I guess it won't all be tracked out by 12:30. I fucking hate coming up for halfdays sometimes.
I flew in last night for a week to ski. I'll be here for 7 days, god damn it did I luck out.
And it's my first time skiing in Utah, so this will be an interesting couple of days. By the way, fuck your street system here. Street numbers in the thousands, fucking seriously? You people are insane.
I get that, but does EVERYTHING have to be so spread out here. It's wild, you guys just couldn't squeeze some things together a little more? What seem like non-major streets downtown have 6 lanes. I have been bussing it these days, and being a pedestrian here sucks. I live in NYC and I have never had as many close calls with cars there as I have had in SLC.
Seriously though, if there is any way I can thank Brighton today, I would. The one week I have to take a trip, my first time in Utah it dumps, and I ski the first chest deep powder of my life.
A little late, but I was on the plane coming back and I threw this together. It's the day after the storm, Monday, under the Western chair at Brighton.
