Quick help about Alpine Valley/SE Michigan

The Alpine Valley site says the have some boardercross shit and possibly GS and something else. I see it said halfpipe, are they jsut closing the halfpipe for that or what will be closed?

Also, does Alpine have a good park setup? What is better in SE Michigan. Pine knob legit?

Where the hell does it say that? im going tomorrow. Pine knob is alright, pretty big jumps. pretty good varaity of rails. not as good as alpine though

pipe sucks but when they have boarder cross and gs you just have to be smart and not cut off racers. They leave most f the stuff open and it wont b closed all day, and the park from what i've heard about other places is one of the best in michigan lots of rails and 5 nice kickers one of them about 30 feet.

I ended up going to Pine Knob on sunday and it was pretty legit. A lot of jumps and rails up. Other than how crowded it got, it was nice.

yeah i dig pine. especially the 'big' jump line because no body hits it besides a few of us. and their jibs are pretty sick

Both jump lines were pretty good. The 'smaller' jump line didnt have much in the way of good lips because of the gapers rolling over them. But the rails were pretty fun, I didnt like the steepness of the landings of the two longer flat boxes but I guess if I got used to it, it would make something rediculous like an 810 off possible if you huck it with some speed. Also, the snow was in great shape when I went.

i know i dont like trying new tricks in the smaller jump line unless a friend foloows me because the gapes will run you over. ive seen it happen too many times.

5 jumps, largest is 25-30ft?

roughly 25 jibs 

Theres a pretty good variety.

They've been maintaining it pretty good latly, but I still recommend going earlier in the day.

yeah it has been good also worth saying is all the jumps are super lippy and tough to spin off of, still lots of fun and on a weekday it isnt to torn up
