So my 2009 Salomon Threats delam'd over new years this season (surprised they lasted as long as they did with the reputation they have). They were still under warranty so I shipped them back out to Salomon and they finally got back to me: they're sending me a new pair of their Dumont Pro Pipe skis as a replacement. These seem to be a pretty new model (i guess?) because I can't find any user reviews of them anywhere. Am I going to have the same durability problems with these that everyone's been having with the Threats/Suspects?
If these do have a reputation for crappy durability like the rest of the Salomon park skis I'm thinking about selling them and going with a different brand (like I've seen a lot of other people doing). I've been looking at Line's Afterbangs and they seem like great park/urban skis. How do they handle on the rest of the mountain, though? Thanks guys.
