Quick surface question

noob question i know haha!

but... is the surface LAE by jeff brown the same ski as the one life just with a limited edition topsheet? because from the site i wanna buy it from it has the same dimensions. i actually wanted a one life but the one life is sold out. so if its the same ski construction wise, then i might as well get the LAE.

pretty much, think the one lifes had better sidewalls and the rocker profile was slightly refined if anything

so its not the one life shape? i liked the massive rocker in tip and tail and the flex of the one life. guess the live life is a bit more of a charging ski?

The LAE is the One Life. Same ski, just different graphic. Buy it. I have the LAE, it's my soulmate. Kills it anywhere and everywhere.

and I'll add on...sorry. The One Life is the stiffer compared to the Live Life. I'd get the One Life (LAE)if you want something for charging. Like I said, it's my favourite ski. I love stiff skis, One Life is perfect. And the massive rocker profile helps with so much float.

Just remember, One Life = LAE. SAME EVERYTHING, just different topsheet.

thanks alot. well im not quite sure whats teh right ski for me.
i have my hellbents in 189 for pow but im looking at a lighter playfuller ski to rip all mountain. its should be geared more towards pow.

The One Life is pretty light and nimble. The 112mm waist makes it quite versatile. I find them super fun and playful. Took me a week to figure them out, but I'm on my second season with them, and getting a new pair next year. The rocker makes them super easy to maneuver, butter and play around on. And like I said, with the rocker, they have plenty of float when it comes to the deep stuff.
