i just got new IL MOROs and they are out of this world. they come pre V-cut, but there are special inserts if you dont want the flexibility.
pretty much this is going to seperate freestyle from alpine skiing. finally, freestyle is born
Curious?
Are all of your boots modified in such a manner or is this just for the park? I get the extra flexibility would be advantageous on rails giving more freedom and pop-a-bility.
But surely you enjoy the stability and support ripping big mountain lines and huckin' cliffs with a fully intact boot, no? It must be wiggly when skiing aggressively even when you are accustomed to it...
What I am getting at is basically: these cannot be your only pair of boots.
Do you guys have a superpipe? Or is it one of those 18ft jobs?
I been working on park tricks with a telemark setup and I definately enjoyed the freedom of movement (like yourself) but in the pipe I found it way too sketchy, the near vertical walls demand something extra to pump through without landing backseat or frontseat and losing control, and not to mention looking the fool....
Do you have an edit of your pipe skills so I can reference it?
