Some free purl was that I got like 4 years ago. It lasts forever, works great in all conditions, and its purple.

yeah really no reason to get super expensive wax. Maybe if you are competing in pipe comps, or obviously if you are doing any racing.

Even when I was skiing moguls I used the cheap wax and it was more than good enough.

The only reason I even wax my park skis is to protect the bases

Right now I've still got some of that free wax Ocean gave away last year and some Hertel. The Ocean wax smells really good.

Well I'm not shaving seconds or anything but it seems to work just fine. I mostly just can't get over how good it smells.
