no, it means he's more comfortable riding without a helmet you stupid fuck.
it may be hard for you kids out there to believe but a LOT of people don't wear helmets because mentally it hinders their abilities which is a lot more dangerous to them than wearing a helmet. just because they don't love wearing one like you, doesn't mean they're idiots or ballsier, it just makes you a judgmental fetus shit that should stop wiping your wet vags over other people's faces.
look at the past deaths/serious injuries that have occurred in snowboarding/skiing. now see how many of them were wearing helmets. they are not a god send but yes in cases they do save lives and yes i wear a helmet myself because i believe it is safer, but fuck... you and anyone else who's saying that might as well be on one of those anti-smoking commercials bitching at other people about how they should live their lives.
Torstein absolutely kills it. he was at my home hill in the midwest the otherday with the DC team. me and my friend were trying to figure out which one he was, we never figured it out. i feel like i should have tried harder to figure out which one he was now hahah
he is nucking futs!!!!!!!!!! and why are you kids blabbing about no helmets? we all know what they do, and what can happen if you are not wearing one. and why people dont wear them. geeze. you know the answer, now shut up.
seriously, shut up about the helmet. it is completely irrelevant.
what is relevant:
this is probably the sickest segment i have ever seen, skiing or snowboarding. how else can slay EVERYTHING like that? kills urban, trip cork?!, bc booters, pow lines, there was even a tiny bit of pipe. that is what a segment should look like.
Well in my opinion it's stupid. Kind of like not wearing a seat belt is stupid. Helmets and seat belts are two safety devices that very noninvasive, easily accessible, and simple to use and can help you avoid serious bodily injury. Now I can understand not wearing a helmet if your sliding a little backyard rail or cruising and takin 'er easy, but if you're out there getting buck wild and throwing some crazy shit, I think it makes sense to wear a brain bucket. However, that's just me and a helmet has saved my ass numerous times.
Also, I suppose I should have said that the choice to not wear a helmet is a result of stupidity OR extreme confidence in ones abilities. Obviously guys like Torstein and Wilson have an incredible skill set and they trust in their skills and know that they are going to land on their feet. It's great to have skills and confidence, but in the off chance that something unpredicted happens, I think it's a good idea to be wearing a helmet.
However, with all that said I'm not here to start a shit fest of no helmet vs. helmet, just letting you know my thoughts on the subject. Also, that video was really sick, Torstein is an animal.
