Ok, so I am in need of ideas. I have the challenge of creating a big air jump/feature in a tricky location.

Flat. The jump needs to be on flat ground. There is a large in run but no slope for the landing. I doubt there would be enough snow to build one mid slope on the inrun (25+ degree slope), so I am thinking building it all on the flat.

It does not have to be an excessively large jump (30-40 feet would proabably do), most likely step over as that would be the only way to get a landing.

I realize I pretty much just said what I needed to do but I would like some visual support. Does anyone have any pics of features that they have had to build or have hit, with a similar layout as explained above?

basically just do a mini version of the mammoth jump in refresh and your good. rounded off stepover landing and a nice wide takeoff.

start makin and pushing snow. its gonna take a lot.

this. also if you want to built a butter box, bales work wonders for it too.

Make it a gap jump- the snow you cut away between the takeoff and landing can be used to build the landing bigger, longer, and steeper. Just make sure someone who knows what's up speed checks and guinea pigs it.

I think he meant that it would be a steep in run but the actual jump would be on the bottom at the flat.

exactly. good inrun. flat area for jump. We are going with a step over and if we need the snow will go for a gap too. Snow guns have been blasting! thanks boys

re read the op...clearly says he has an ample in run just doesn't have enough snow to build it on a steep part of the run

Hey bud. A slightly more unorthodox idea, but think about building a wide undervert qp, with a tranny on the other side. These have been built a few times, thinking back to park shoots around the Propaganda/Happy Dayz times, and again in this edit at 0:30. Could be a more efficient use of snow and might make for a more creative session.
