I got locked in a grocery store tonight

for 2 hours it was bullshit... daylight savings happened so my internal clock was all whack i thought i was walking into the store at 10 but it was 11 as it was closing. once a month this guy comes and waxes the floor so they dont close 100% and they lock this guy in and let him out at 5 am

so i shop for my shit and get to the counter at 11:15 wait around a bit for someone to come(all the lights r still on place seems open) nobody shows except this black guy and im like do you work here blah blah explains to me how im stuck there until 5 am at first i was liek wat the fuck and ran around looking for windows and shit got nothing i asked him to call the manager and he was like no please ill get in trouble blah blah so i went o the staff lounge watched some tv smoked a dart for like an hour then said fuck this called the cops and they got a hold of the manager and i got out 2 and some hours later

You fucking called the cops? You were in a god damn grocery, its not like you were in any sort of danger and you put a floor waxers job on the line? We're in a recession, that was the most selfish move I have ever heard of. You could't just sleep on the couch for a few hours and munch away at any food you desired? I hate to be peeved by an NS post, but your story is ridiculous and makes you sound very selfish.

no? You're right, definitely better to call the cops. The guy may have gotten fired, but its ok because OP got to be home for bedtime. Wouldn't want to get cold.

The floor waxer would get fired. Boy in grocery store calls cops, cops call manager (2 in the morning), manager is very unhappy about how the floor waxer locked up with selfish boy still inside, fires floor waxer all because someone A) didn't think to change his clock. B) Couldn't hold out in a safe, warm, food filled store. Seems like a certain floor waxer got fucked over for something not entirely or at all his fault.

haha ya right it wasnt the floor waxers job at all the manager didnt live to far away the guy washes the floor once a month thats the key fact the store manager has nothing on this guy he prolly goes to a different store every night

i thought he was a regular employee thats why i chilled for an hour he barely spoke english i didnt go out the fire escape cuz of fire alarms once he said he worked there once a month i knew he didnt know shit so i looked all around for a managers phone number called some offices all closed so i called the cops


grocery stores are boring as fuck i was chilling in a storage room im not cleaning the fuckin provigo cuz of bad timing ive cleaned floors the novelty wore off a long time ago i hadnt been home all day i was walkin in to buy dinner get some cash back pick up some drugs go home and chill and i got denied hard

i considered his job for about an hour realizd i had 5 left tried to find ways out everywhere then called the cops

Alllright I gotcha, makes more sense now. I definitely thought that by calling the cops, the manager would have probably fired the floor waxer, but this makes a bit more sense if they waxer is most likely at a different store every night.

either way, the waxer shouldve called the manager, and if hurrisn hadnt called the cops, the manager probably would have either had to report it to the police anyways, so. i don't see the point. no one in their right mind, would enjoy fully waiting there all night and it would probably look worse on your part had you been too stupid not to contact someone about it. the floor waxer sounds like a bigger imbecile than the op.

you're all idiots. well most of you...the floor cleaner isn't going to lose his job they don't clean one store only. doors lock at night, at my grocery store the floor cleaners were locked in all night too.
