Worlds best chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.

lol that's the EXACT recipe on the back of the nestle chip bag...
also i suggest you cut the baking soda and use 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar and 1/4 tsp. of baking soda instead.





my banger snickerdoodles:

1/2 cup butter (melted or close to it)
1/2 cup shortening (crisco)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

sugar topping:
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

-preheat oven to 400 degrees
-blend together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and the vanilla. mix together all the dry ingredients and gradually add them to your wet mixture.
-mix together remaining sugar and the cinnamon. roll balls of dough in mixture.
-bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard. DO NOT OVER BAKE. remove from baking sheet and on to cooling racks if possible.

wow, I just googled mine, you got it down tho! Im actually stocked up heavy on baking goods right now after a failed attempt at surprising my lass with some cinnabuns. recipe was in cups, but im currently in sweden where they rep decilitres, and I failed on the conversion.
