Craziest place on earth

this year a couple of my friends and me made a trip to Kazantip.

most of you in the US have probably not heard of it. its a small area which a rich russian guy bought, in the south of the ukraine to celebrate for four weeks the biggest party.
rules are, there arent any. its like a modern woodstock. sex drugs and electronic music. 2/3rds of the girls run around topless. its like a giant spring break in august.
it was a pain in the ass to get there from germany but it was well worth it. alcohol was so cheap, awesome music and party at the beach. so many dance floors. and if for whatever reason you get into trouble there, with a couple of bucks the problems were gone. its kind of getting crowded there now, cuz more and more people hear of it.

here this is a fairly moderate overview of the place. but what you actually experience there is alot more radical/crazy XD

if you guys have no plans for next summer definitely check it out.

i didnt go there from the USA, im german so my travel wasnt too far, but it took us about 2 days. we took trains though, which was kinda funny since we didnt speak a word of russian and they didnt spaek much english. the people were really friendly and in the end we got there.

but for you guys i think it would be easiest to fly to kiew and then take a plane to the biggest ciity close to that place. im not sure how much it costs though? maybe 800 bucks for the flights? but your stay there wont cost much.

it was a crazy experience. the people there were so open and outgoing. there was always music, the best djs from around the world go there. its just crazy to see how much everyone drinks there. its not for the conservative people, there really are alot of drugs around, there is a condom tower, and you see people having sex at the beach the whole time. the hotels were kinda dirty though, but you dont sleep alot there anyways.


since there are so many things forbidden in the USA i guess it would kinda be cool for you to go there if your 18 and just get some vodka and sit at the beach and smoke some weed or something else and no one gives a damn there are basically no rules, cops or any other people that bitch at you. if you want to you can just take your clothes off or do whatever you want to. and i must say the girls there were sooo hot and definitely not on the shy side XD it was a blast.


but dont pee anywhere but in the toilet. thats the only thing theyre kinda stright with. but its understandable, since u dont wanna lie in the sand where somebody pissed in.

i can only recommend it for you.

no, you need to buy a "visa" but if you got that you can stay as long as you want. its not gonna be free, since they need to pay for all the top Djs, sound systems etc...

Sounds awesome!
I'm from Germany too and our class was considering about to go there after graduating the A-Levels.
But we heard that almost half of the people got aids when they come back from this trip.
can you tell me more about this problem?
and how much does that visa cost?

Yeah, I also heard that you don't actually come back alive, they eat you up and clone you to send you back and advertise on Newschoolers - more meat for them.

Be careful if you go, those flying pigs and cows also spread HIV.

Woah there, calling names already and we haven't even met.

Anyway, the point was that "We heard that almost half the people who went got AIDS" is a statement which is so ridiculous you cannot take it seriously. First of all, half the people of whom and when? I'd like to see one of these people as I'm pretty sure you can't contract AIDS from anyone or anything. Then again, if you don't want HIV, then you take measures to prevent it, you don't just "end up" with a retrovirus after a trip.

well aids is a problem in the ukraine, but theres a big condom house in the middle of the area.
visa costs between 100-150 euros but you can stay for as long as u want i.e. 5 weeks if ur fit enough

well if ur afraid of catching aids, then just get drunk and enjoy the awesome music and party in the ocean to the music and enjoy the atmosphere. you dont need to have sex. or just bring some fe/male friends along and have sex with them at the beach and just enjoy life. or get some drugs for really cheap.

it wont be that bad if the top 10 richest men of russia go there, like Abramovich etc...

but i agree, there as everywhere else you have to be careful of what you do and who you have sex with.

i suppose at springbreak or any other rave where the people are "open" there is similar risk of catching an std.

im going there again next year. it was truly awesome.

oh and just checked the aids stats for ukraine.

1.6% of the population have aids. not a small number but it isnt really that huge.

im going there about 1 time a month. but there are too many gay people and not enough women. not that i have a problem with gay people but when i go party i wanna party with girls.

and you cant rave in the ocean at berghain. plus you have to wait in a cue that is about 300m long, which sucks.

True, but you also have to realize we don't have the luxury in living in the city best known for its techno/clubs. Whenever I have time for vacation I go to Berlin so I can hit up Berghain/Watergate/Tresor/Bar 25. But I guess if you live there you want to take your own vacation and have a change of scenery.
